



On Saturday, May 16th 2009 at 2 PM EST Michael Noel Garrett Graduated Cum Laude from Virginia’s Commonwealth University with a BFA in Graphic Design. His friends and family were incredibly surprised.

My first book, Hamletter is a project I produced based on experimental typography. I took a stanza from Hamlet, broke down the lines into words and created each word from household items. The result has been called “stunning.”

Summer internship at a local news station. Trusted to contribute equally with the full time employees, making on air graphics, promotional materials and identity design.
Lecture series at VCU with guests including Massimo Vignelli, Ivan Chermayeff and Chaz Maviyane-Davies.
International design conference, Tasmeem, in Doha, Qatar where I participated and presented a charette-style project on the problems with transportation in a growing city.
